Dougherty was the driving force behind the incubation and scaling of [Microsoft Azure](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/) into a multi-billion-dollar business, enabling organizations’ digital transformation of global enterprise and application migration at scale, with early adopters such as Walmart, Chevon, Equinor, UBS, Toyota and more. “Restaurant/hospitality is primed for a similar digital transformation, because the exponential growth in off-premise ordering has created a unique challenge for restaurateurs: ensuring guests pickup food on time and that food production is prioritized based on guest proximity,” said Dougherty. “Curbit is uniquely positioned to address the symptoms of this industry-wide pain point.
